My story

This beauty with the blue eyes is Greta! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 6/29, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Greta is very friendly though initially a little shy. She has been calm in her kennel since her arrival, and she will sit nicely when asked. Huskies are working breed dogs and notorious for being inquisitive and athletic. They need physical and mental stimulation or they will create their own adventures. Please ensure you have the time, energy, and patience to welcome a husky into your heart and home before adopting Greta. Greta is approximately 2 years old and weighs 39 lbs. She is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. She will be spayed and microchipped upon adoption. Greta is waiting patiently in run 409; her ID # is 11535. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
