My story

Penguin is in need of a foster home while he awaits further medical treatment.Foster Reason: Upper Respiratory Infection (URI), Skin Infection, and Awaiting Mass Removal Surgery Foster Time Frame: 2 Weeks(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.) Foster Care Plan: Penguin is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection, similar to a cold, and a skin infection. He will go to foster with medication and will need medicated baths twice a week. Since he is likely contagious, we strongly recommend keeping him separate from other dogs until he has fully recovered. Once he is finished with his URI treatment, he will be ready for his mass removal surgery. A medical consultation will be provided at your pickup appointment to ensure you are ready to take great care of this sweet boy! Foster to Adopt: Penguin is available through our Foster to Adopt program, which allows pets awaiting or undergoing medical treatment to be placed with prospective adopters before they are made available for adoption.
