Pet Location:Wayside Waifs Campus. Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days to meet me! My Friends at Wayside say: - My previous owner said that I am house-trained.- I had experience living successfully around cats in my previous home. - I am eligible for a Slumber Pawty, a 7-10 day in-home trial period. My home needs are: - I need a home with kids 10 years old and older since I tend to be nervous around new people and loud noises. - I must meet other dogs in the home if they are under 30lbs before adoption to ensure that we can be buddies. Please arrive at the shelter before 4pm on our open adoption days so we can meet!- Wayside requires bringing the whole family out to meet me before adoption - new people can make me a little nervous.- No apartments or shared living spaces for me, please! I’m a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier with a heart full of love, a goofy personality, and a serious passion for both playtime and cuddle time. I’m the kind of gal who’s always ready for a game of fetch, a run around the yard, or a silly session with my favorite stuffies. But once I’ve gotten my energy out, I’m all about snuggling up with you on the couch. I definitely consider myself a lap dog, and I’ll take all the cozy time I can get!I’m a smart cookie and already know a bunch of cool commands like sit, down, shake, high five, wait, and spin. I love learning new things, especially when treats are involved. I’m also housetrained and crate trained, so I’ve got great home manners. I do like to use my voice from time to time, so I probably wouldn’t be the best apartment dog.One of the great things about me is that I’ve lived with dogs, cats, and even birds before! I really enjoy being around other dogs and would love a playmate who matches my energy and play style. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give me just a little time and patience, and I’ll warm up quickly. Once I trust you, I’m loyal, loving, and ready to be your best friend for life.I’ve got a fun, bouncy spirit and a gentle, affectionate soul.
