My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Adoption:24Three-month-old siblings Lucy and Linus are navigating kittenhood with distinctly different philosophies. While brown tabby Lucy takes a thoughtful, watch-and-wait approach to new experiences, her grey brother Linus embraces life with enthusiasm – complete with dramatic (but harmless) swats when he's excited. These food-motivated youngsters have discovered that Churu treats are basically the meaning of life, and they'll temporarily forget their shyness for a taste of that magical paste. They both love toys, transforming even cautious Lucy into a pouncing powerhouse. They'll need patient guardians who understand that trust takes time and treats help everything. Linus has a minor eye condition called synechiae that gives his right eye a unique appearance, but doesn't slow him down one bit – it just adds to his distinctive charm and will need a vet check after adoption to ensure it stays that way.    September 13, 2025, 4:47 pm
