My story

I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereThe name Harriet means "home ruler," and this 3-year-old, 9-pound chihuahua mix is living up to it, ruling her foster home with sweetness, affection, and heart. Once she’s comfortable, her big-girl energy shines! She loves squeaky toys, burrowing in blankets, and cuddling up with her humans. Harriet gets along well with the resident dog. They play together and also enjoy doing their own thing. On her daily walks, she greets both people and pups with confidence and charm. She’s doing well with potty training, learning commands like touch and sit, and has mastered crate training (up to 6 hours). She’s quiet most of the time but may chime in to be part of the action.
