My story

Belinda Carlisle said that Heaven is a place on Earth. Well, apologies to Belinda, but Heaven isn`t a place at all, she`s a dog! And a what a dog our Heaven is. Friendly, engaging, playful, spirited, these are just a few of the words we could use to describe her. Though she came from a rough situation, she hasn`t let that affect her sunny disposition, and she greets everyone like they`re a long lost friend. Heaven is still working on putting on weight, and will need a family who can help gently work on getting back to tip top form. She has lived with other dogs in the past, but appears to prefer her canine companions to be on the low energy side. Bring the whole fam on down to meet her, and you just might find your own Heaven on Earth too!This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff!Be sure to check the “shelter information” box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
