My story

Super friendly, Sweet, Lovely You are going to go mad over Madeline! She is a friendly girl who loves people - adults and children! She will stand on her hind legs to rub your hand, and then roll over for pets. She is very affectionate! She wants to be near you and prefers to sit next to you, either getting pets or just hanging out with you. (However, she has just started learning the joys of sitting on a lap, so that may change!) She is chummy with people after just meeting them and is ready to make everyone her friend. And Madeline is usually ready to play - this young girl loves her playtime! She will walk over to a wand toy and mew, or will find a toy mouse and start throwing it around...all the time looking at you expectantly! Because she is saying, "When are we going to play?" She will chase a wand toy, capture it, and then carry it off (wanting you to follow, of course!), and then will start the game all over again. She is gentle when she plays, and sometimes chirrups, which is adorable. Madeline is the kind of cat who follows you around like a playful pup and will be your sweet companion! She loves being with you, seeing what you're up to, and hoping that it might be playtime soon. She is always ready for a game! Madeline would be perfect for a family with kids! She loves her humans and is sweet and calm, but does not love other pets. She disapproves of the resident cats in her foster home, as well as the dog she met. She would like a home where she is your only pet! Madeline came to APA! with her kittens, who have all been adopted! She is petite and one of the most beautiful tortoiseshell kitties we have seen - a rich black coat speckled and marbled with dark brown and orange. And how cute is that tiny orange dot on her head? Madeline will use a scratching post if you provide it for her! She's perfect with the litter box. She has done some over-grooming, but we think it could be stress-related; this darling girl seriously wants her own home where she can relax forever!
