My story

FALLS ASLEEP ON MEOWMY'S SHOULDER  DOB 4/7/25 Hey there, everyone! I’m Carolina Reaper, a cute, spicy little fireball of a Classic brown tabby fella, which means that I have marble swirls on my sides instead of the usual mackerel tabby stripes. I purr myself to sleep in Foster Meowmy’s lap or on her shoulder. I also enjoy when she gives me backrubs when we watch Dr. Who episodes together. I was named after the Carolina Reaper chili pepper, one of the hottest in the world. Some people say "the Reaper has a fruity taste, with the initial bite being sweet and then immediately turning to 'molten lava.'" Foster Meowmy made the connection that, at first, I seem to be like a sweet little kitten, but then my personality soon gets so hot that I melt your heart. I’m so handsome that I’m positively flaming, and I’ll slay you with my cuteness. My momma Tilly birthed my siblings Chili, Chipotle, and me under an old house. After she had to defend us from raccoons when we were about two months old, she decided that life in the wild was too dangerous for kittens. That’s when our daddy Billy led Tilly to a kind human household, and soon all five of us were in the safe haven of our foster home. Instead of living paw-to-mouth, we discovered all the joys of eating from brimming food bowls, climbing cat trees, chasing jingle balls, and catching feathers at the end of wand-toys. Of course, Chili, Chipotle, and I, the #pepper-posse, tumble and pounce, climb and wrestle with each other until we’re exhausted, and then we collapse in a kitten puddle. Plus I’m an incredibly loyal friend with the other resident cats. I was initially a little uncertain around hoomans, but with time and patience, I’ve become more relaxed and trusting (as well as a Dr Who fan). Now I’m ready to bring my feisty playfulness and red-blooded boyishness to my forever family. Could that be you?
