My story

Current Location: Baltimore, MD Meet Maybell Maybell is a beautiful girl with a gentle heart and sweet happy dispostion. At just 6 months old, she’s discovering a whole new world and settling beautifully into life as a beloved companion. Her calm, loving nature makes her an easy dog to adore. Energy and Personality Quiet, affectionate, and soft-hearted, Maybell is blossoming with every passing day. She’s learning that people are kind, toys are fun, and being loved feels wonderful. She’s still a little shy at first, but she’ll soon be leaning in for attention, offering a soft smile and hoping for a gentle pet. Training & Behavior Maybell is smart and eager to please - she has already learned sit and come, is doing great with potty training (no accidents in her foster home) and sleeps quietly all night waiting for foster mom to say good morning. She loves to run outside in the yard, and play with her furry foster sibling. She’s also learning the joy of neighborhood walks with her foster’s dog by her side and likes to say hello to people going by. Inside she naps contentedly while her foster mom works or settle in to enjoy a treat or nylabone. Social Life She’s friendly with every person and dog she’s met, and has started to play and run with her foster’s dog in the yard. She thrives in the company and loves being in the same space as her people. Best Home Fit Maybell would do best in a loving home that will let her continue to blossom at her own pace. She may need a few calm days to become comfortable in a new home, but then she is ready for adventure. A confident resident dog would be a bonus, but more than anything, she just wants a person or family who will give her the love and attention she’s waited for.
