My story

Do you believe the best things come in small, spicy packages? Allow us to introduce you to Titi, a 9-pound bundle of love, loyalty, and (okay, let’s be honest) a little bit of drama.Titi came to us after her loving family had to move in to a place that did not allow dogs. While she is nervous from the transition, she’s ready to open up again to the right, patient home. Titi doesn’t love meeting new people right away. She prefers to take her time and scope people out before committing to friendship. (She’s got standards, okay?)But once you’re in, you’re IN. Titi loves to be babied, snuggled, and carried like the tiny princess she is. She’ll burrow under blankets, curl up on your lap, and follow you around the house like she’s on official supervisor duty.She’s got opinions, and she’s not afraid to express them– especially when unfamiliar people come up to her or try to chat her up too soon. Titi`s previous home said that she will protect the lap she is sitting on. A quieter home with adults and/or older teens who respect her space would be ideal for her continued blossoming. Titi will quietly watch other dogs from a distance, but if they come close she will run and hide. Titi is starting love going for walks outside, and loves to shadow people she trusts. If you think Titi would be just the right fit for your home, and you are patient and don`t need to pet a dog right away - please come to the shelter on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 12-4pm. There may be other available times to meet Titi. Please email dogs@worcesterarl.org to see if there are other times available. If you are driving from a distance please call to make sure this dog is still available.
