My story

I'm a 4-year-old male Rough Collie mix, and I weigh about 20kg (that’s around 44 pounds). With my shiny, flowing coat and elegant posture, people often say I look like I walked right out of a painting! I’ve been told I’m quite the handsome gentleman—someone even said I look "luxurious." That made me blush a little. 😌 If you're familiar with Rough Collies, you probably know that we’re known for being gentle, loyal, and incredibly devoted to our families—and that’s me to a T. I love people and especially enjoy making my humans happy. I'm smart, eager to please, and I pick up on things quickly. I’ve already learned basic commands like "sit" and "wait," and when you call my name, I’ll come running straight to you with my tail wagging. Right now, I’m staying at a training center, and the people here say I rarely bark and always want to be near humans. I’m not the kind of dog who plays rough with others—I’d much rather be hanging out by your side, leaning into your legs for pets or following you room to room like your quiet little shadow. I get along with other dogs just fine, but I don’t necessarily seek them out to play. I’m more of a people-dog. A calm home where I can enjoy a close bond with my person or family would be my dream come true. As for potty habits—I prefer to go outside. In a brand-new environment, I might have a few oopsies at first, but with a little patience, I’ll get the hang of it in no time. I’m already doing great with training, and I warm up to new people quickly, too. What I really want most is a forever family who sees me not just for how pretty I look on the outside, but for the sweet, gentle soul I carry on the inside. I thrive when I’m loved, included, and given the chance to be someone’s loyal companion.
