My story

Meet Annie Marks, a 12-pound black-and-white Terrier mix with a tender heart that's just beginning to peek through her fear. Annie came to us with fearful behavior—likely having never been properly socialized—but behind her cautious eyes is a dog who wants to trust, love, and connect… she just doesn’t know how yet. Annie is highly food motivated, which has been the key to slowly earning her trust. Every treat offered is a small step toward building a bond, and she’s starting to show curiosity with signs of affection. She’ll need someone extremely patient, gentle, and understanding—someone who sees the potential in a dog who’s been shut down for far too long. She’s still learning the basics, including leash walking and potty training, and would thrive in a quiet home with a predictable routine. Annie is the kind of dog who will make every milestone—every tail wag, every touch—a truly meaningful victory. If you’re the kind of person who believes in second chances and understands that love can take time, Annie Marks is waiting for you. With your help, she just might find the courage to love and be loved in return. Adoption fee is: $375 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
