My story

At just two years young, Aubrey has already overcome more than many cats her age, but you’d never guess it by looking at her now. With her soft fur, calming presence and the lightest green eyes you’ve ever seen, she’s a quiet beauty with a heart full of hope. Aubrey came to us at the end of June from an overcrowded shelter, arriving in rough shape and in need of some serious TLC. She was covered in scabs and open sores, likely caused by a bad flea infestation and battling a common feline respiratory infection. But thanks to time, care and a whole lot of love, she’s made an incredible recovery and she’s feeling better than ever. Now, as the calendar gets ready to turn to a new month, we want Aubrey to turn the page on this chapter too—with a new beginning in a forever home. Aubrey is calm, sweet-natured and the kind of companion who doesn’t need constant action to feel close. Whether she’s gazing out a sunny window or relaxing nearby while you read or work, she’s a gentle presence who brings a quiet kind of comfort. Aubrey is ready for: * A home where she can feel safe, secure and loved * A family who appreciates how far she’s come and is excited to be part of her bright future * A cozy window perch or soft blanket where she can truly relax—maybe for the first time in her life She’s healed, she’s hopeful and she’s waiting for someone to show her that the best is yet to come. The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times.
