My story

King Henry was rescued with his siblings, Flora and Fauna, as a struggling newborn labeled 'failing to thrive.' With intensive care, syringe feeding, and lots of snuggles later, Henry has defied the odds and made a full recovery! Henry is the loverboy of his litter. Gentle, patient, and sweet, Henry will make a wonderful lap-kitty for someone who wants a snuggle buddy. While Flora and Fauna may be sprinting in circles around their room, Henry will gently walk up to you, place a single paw on your foot and meow gently to be picked up. Once scooped in your hands, Henry is content to sit there and purr and make biscuits in your arms as long as you'll hold him. Every step you take, Henry will stay under you, waiting to be held. Henry's utmost trust in humans means he's also not as skittish as a traditional kitten. Vacuums, loud noises, and quick movements don't scare him as he has the utmost faith that his human will protect him. Henry would be a great kitten to introduce to an older cat, and could possibly do well as a solo cat in a home where his human is home a lot - he wants nothing more than to just be curled up in your side. King Henry is available for pre-adopt only at this time as he is not old enough to move to a forever home, but applications can still be completed. Applications for pre-adopt are processed in the order they are received. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for cats over six months to seven years is $100, kittens under six months is $150, cats eight years and over are $50 unless specified otherwise.
