My story

Meet Simba- A Gentle Soul Ready for a Second Chance This handsome black lab has had a rough start. He was found living outside for a long time, he came to us scared and unsure of people. When he first arrived, all he wanted was a quiet corner to hide in. But with kindness and time, we've seen him start to peek out from his shell and learn that people can be gentle. He's already made progress- joining dog playgroups (he prefers to watch rather than play for now) and showing us that despite his fear, he's never bitten or acted aggressively here. He is heartworm positive, so he'll need treatment, but what he needs most is a patient, understanding home that will give him the space and time to blossom at his own pace. Give him the time and love he's never known, and you'll see a scared soul turn into your most loyal friend.
