My story

** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE HOLD ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, just walk right in. Zack aka Zuzu is about 4 yrs old and weighs about 44 lbs. Unfortunately, he came into a shelter as a stray so we have no back history, more will be known about me soon. FROM HIS FOSTER HOME: Zack is a really sweet boy that wants to be your companion. He will follow you around everywhere. He was definitely a family dog. He prefers indoors to outdoors and does well with all sorts of people. We have two teens and he accepted them and all of their friends that swing by very quickly. He just wants pets, gives kisses and he has the cutest wagging tail. Zack likes to play fetch. The ball landed in the pool once but he did not jump in to get it. When we were in the pool , he did not get in, he just laid down on the side so I don't know if he is a fan of water. He loves his dog bed, and spends lots of time snuggling up and sleeping on it. The first night, we put him in a crate. It took him a bit to settle down. He whined when he had to pottie in the night. After the pottie break he went back into the crate without problems and slept. The next night he slept on the bed with my son. Zack seems to know some basic commands like "sit", "shake" and "lay down". He does not seem to know his name given by the shelter. We have a family cat, and he seemed to be ok with him as the shelter said that he stayed in a home with other dogs and a cat before. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Center, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet comes with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org . You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours, Monday-Friday. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply).
