Sage

My story

Hi everyone! My name is Sage. A kind lady saved me when I was dumped in her neighborhood around the 4th of July. Then my foster mom took me in a few days later, and I instantly loved her! I cuddled up right next to her, and even napped right on her chest the first afternoon. I love to cuddle and be next to people. I also love my foster sister and brother and do great with them. We love to tussle and race around the yard, and I also love playing in the water with my human foster brothers! They’re 4 and 2, and their loud screams and lack of physical boundaries don’t bother me at all! I was a little hesitant around my foster dad at first, but after a few days and some kibble and treats from him, I’m much more comfortable now. I sleep great at night in my kennel, and foster mom thinks I’m about 90% potty trained. They have a dog door that I haven’t fully gotten the hang of yet but I’m getting closer! I enjoy going on walks and am pretty good on my leash! I love sunbathing in the grass - I already have a favorite spot in the yard, and I’ll quickly find one in yours, too! I might be a little shy when I first meet you, but give me some time and I become a huge cuddle bug. I make a great nap buddy, and will keep you company and follow you around all day! Sage is a female Black Mouth Cur mix with an estimated date of birth of 1/15/25. She currently weighs 15 lbs.
