My story

Mortis is a gentle and friendly cat who was surrendered to us due to allergies in his previous home. While he may be a little shy at first, with a bit of patience and a calm environment, he'll soon warm up and show his sweet personality. Mortis isn't overly playful and prefers a quieter lifestyle, making him a great companion for someone looking for a more low-key feline friend. He may do best as the only cat in the home, where he can fully settle in and thrive at his own pace.Do you think you could be Mortis' person? Here are some ways to find out: 1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Friday to Wednesday noon to 3pm, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or 2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
