My story

{s3829code380/} If you would like to provide this dog a loving home, please fill out a pre-adoption application.  Have a question? Please read our Frequently Asked Questions and Adoption Processed Explained documentation. _________ B I O ______________  Name: Falcor Size: Medium range: 26-60 lbs  Adoption Donation:&#226&#128&#175$250 (applicable sales tax included). &#226&#128&#175Adoption fees may be paid by cash or check.&#226&#128&#175  Other:&#226&#128&#175&#226&#128&#175Neutered Male, Vaccinations current, Microchip  ** Falcor is deaf, and we are working with him to learn some hand signal commands. These websites are useful: https://deafdogsrock.com/beginning-sign-training or http://www.deafdogs.org/training/signs.php. Also: http://www.deafdogs.org/training/   ~A website for people with deaf dogs and those considering adopting them. It has general training tips.   Falcor has some paw-some personality ready for you!   Foster Home Feedback  7/24/25 Foster Feedback: Falcor may not be able to hear, but he's all smiles, and his gorgeous eyes are sure to melt your heart. He starts his day off with scritches on his face, ears, and a hug. He loves affection, pets, kisses, cuddles, and has the softest fur. Falcor is on week two of a six-week training class and doing amazing. We are working on sit, stay, mat, greeting friends with all 4 paws on the floor, and leave it. We practice daily to keep him fresh while learning these new skills. We are kennel training Falcor for 5-6 hrs during the day. He doesn't love it but settles down in 10-15 minutes. Falcor startles easily, so we approach his kennel softly when letting him out. He does sleep in his kennel overnight. Falcor has tons of energy and likes to play tug and Frisbee. He plays well with our 10-month-old puppy and our other foster pup. He will need slow introductions with other dogs. Overall, he is one happy dude looking for his special family.  ** Falcor is Lyme & Anaplasmosis positive. These are tick-borne illnesses, and he is currently being treated with Doxycycline.  To learn more about Anaplasmosis in dogs, read here: http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+2101&aid=3621 To learn more about Lyme disease in dogs, read here: http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?c=2+2102&aid=458To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org August 14, 2025, 11:37 am

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Falcor, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
