My story

Meet Stacy! This 4-year-old sweetheart is a gentle soul who’s learning to find her footing after the transition to shelter life. While the noisy environment was a little overwhelming at first, she’s starting to settle in and show glimpses of her sweet and affectionate nature. Stacy is the kind of girl who will truly thrive in a calm, patient home where she can feel safe and loved. She previously lived with cats and has shown she can coexist peacefully with feline friends. She may be shy when meeting new people or navigating unfamiliar situations, but with slow introductions and a soft touch, Stacy opens up and forms strong bonds. She’s ready for a home that will go at her pace and help her continue to build confidence as she blossoms into the loving companion she’s meant to be.Stacy would love to meet any potential canine siblings! Our staff will carefully handle all dog-to-dog introductions at the shelter to ensure a great match. Feel free to bring your pup along when you come to meet her! A meet-and-greet with all members of the household will be required to ensure she`s the perfect fit for your family!Stacy is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccinations, and ready for her forever home!Her ADOPTION FEE IS WAIVED! We want all our dogs to have homes as quickly as possible. In an effort to help dogs with longer stays, those who are deteriorating in the shelter environment, or who are harder to place find homes more quickly, the adoption fee for this dog has been waived.
