My story

Meet Linda the Lovebug, also affectionately known as Pretty Pretty, Honey Bun, and Perfect Girl. She is a 30-lb, 2-year-old Sheltie/Shepherd mix with a heart as soft as her fur.  Background: Linda was rescued as a stray from Hermosillo, Mexico. She was timid and unsure at first, but has blossomed into a confident, loving pup who seems to know just how lucky she is to have a second chance. Every day, she shows more gratitude with tail wags, kisses, and affectionate gazes.  Personality: Linda is sweet, playful, and loyal — the kind of dog who wants to be wherever you are. She's a bit of a "Velcro dog," often found trotting behind her foster mom or curling up at her feet. She loves toys of all kinds and never says no to snuggles. Linda gets along well with dogs of all sizes but especially enjoys the company of playful smaller pups.  Health: Linda is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, and microchipped.  Training: This smart girl is housebroken, crate-trained, well-behaved on a leash, and knows basic commands such as “sit” and “paw”.  Ideal Home: While Linda is dog-friendly, her true love is you. She thrives in a home where she can be close to her people — following you from room to room, laying by your side, and patiently (well, mostly patiently!) waiting for cuddles. Don’t be surprised if you feel a little nose nudge when she’s ready for more pets. She knows what she wants and isn’t shy about asking for love.  Adoption Requirements: Linda's adoption fee is $350.
