Meet Gene, a sweet and tolerant 16-week-old kitten full of playful energy and curiosity. Gene loves to explore, chase toys, and make new friends with his gentle and easygoing personality. Whether he’s in the middle of a fun game or cuddling up for a cozy nap, Gene’s affectionate nature shines through.If you’re looking for a playful yet patient feline companion to bring joy and love into your home, come meet Gene at the MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center. He’s ready to find a forever family that will cherish his sweet spirit and lively heart!For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
