My story

🐶 Meet Yoshi! Sweet • Playful • Smart Cookie • Adventure Buddy in Training Good with Dogs: Yep – curious & chill! Good with Cats: Not sure yet Good with Kids: No little ones – I play rough! Teens are cool though House-Trained: Getting there! Might have an occasional oops Crate-Trained: I’ll grumble going in, but I settle quickly Energy Level: Medium-high – let's play! Prey Drive: Rabbits & squirrels? Watch out! Training: Knows "sit", learning "shake" – super smart & food motivated! Yoshi’s Vibe: If you're looking for a fun-loving pup with a goofy grin and a heart of gold – Yoshi’s your guy! He’s playful, sweet, and loves to be part of the action. He’s learning all the big dog things (like house manners, potty training, and how not to steal snacks off the counter 😅). He lives for toys, treats, and snuggles on the couch. Yoshi wants to be where his people are – he might whine a bit when you leave, but settles down and waits like a champ. New people? He’s a little shy at first, but give him a minute (and maybe a treat) and you’ll have a buddy for life. The Ideal Home: Yoshi is best suited for an active home (no small kiddos, please!) where his energy and silly antics are welcome. Teens and adults who can help him keep learning and burn off energy would be perfect. He’s a chewer (hey, he’s still learning!), so keep the snacks and shoes up high, and stock up on toys! With a little guidance and a lot of love, Yoshi is going to make an amazing companion. 💙 💬 Fun Fact: Yoshi knows "sit," is learning "shake," and has strong opinions about squirrels. 🐿️ As always, we strongly suggest bringing any resident dogs to meet Yoshi prior to adopting. Plese bring vaccination records showing current Bordetella, Distemper/Parvo, and Rabies. To meet Yoshi for yourself, please come to the Guilford County Animal Services located at 980 Guilford College Rd in Greensboro. We have open adoptions from 12pm-4pm every day besides Tuesdays!
