3 YRS OLD / GREAT DANE MIX / FEMALE Greta is a stunner and sure to turn heads with her statuesque posture and her beautiful gray brindle coat! This sweet girl knows “sit” and walks politely on leash. She’s super gentle, adorable, and such a good-looking pup - with the most irresistible puppy eyes! She gets along great with the other dog in her foster home. Greta is calm outside, still a little curious and unsure, but overall very well-behaved. She’s a slim, tall girl who rides beautifully in the car and hops right into the seat like she’s done it a hundred times. It really feels like she belonged to a family before, and now she’s ready to find her new one. If you’re interested in giving Greta the forever home she deserves, this sweet girl will make the best addition! If you are interested in meeting a dog or cat, we require an adoption application. If the animal has "HAS APPLICATION" listed, they are still available to receive additional applications but also may be in the process of being adopted soon. Apply for a DOG: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/CDCK/Dog City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained. Not Ready to commit to adopting yet? Foster a dog today! See our list of dogs needing foster: https://www.citydogsrescuedc.org/adopt-foster/foster-a-dog/ Apply to foster: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/foster/CDCK/Dog
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Greta, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
