My story

Luna and Estrella are our 2 moms who gave birth to kitties outside on the Texas/Mexico border. A good Samaritan heard about the moms and kitties and offered to help - Unfortunately, to no fault of anyone’s, 3 of the kittens did not make it, but 3 did. Those 3 are available for adoption (Mishko, Maui and Margo). Estrella and Luna have been in a home for about 5 weeks now and are loving being inside cats. Despite having been outdoor cats for an unknown amount of time, they have no desire to go back outside. They love their beds, the cat trees and lounging around. We think they could be sisters as the vet estimated them both to be just about a year old, and they look very similar! They are not attached to each other, but they both have very similar personalities also. Both Luna and Estrella are lap kitties. They are not overly active and love to lay around and just enjoy watching the circus of their kittens below them as they watch from the top of the cat trees. They are not overly needy and just go with the flow of the house. Luna and Estrella get along with dogs and other cats, so there are no issues with other animals in the home! They would also be fine with being the only cat of the house. They are very easy-going girls. The foster introduced 2 new kittens to the cat room (after they got cleared by a vet) and the 2 kittens started nursing on Estrella, and she didn’t even care. She just let them go at it (she is spayed so there was no milk, but some kittens do it for comfort). She will lay there whenever they want to nurse and only move after they are done. Those 2 kittens are also available for adoption (Starboy and Moy) As you can see, they didn’t even mind the foster dressing them up for pictures! If you’re looking for a laid back, fully vetted cat that isn’t high maintenance but loves attention and is easy-going and all around just an amazing cat, please consider Luna or Estrella.
