My story

Are you looking for a kitten who is equal parts personality and looks?? Then Jack is your guy! This 4-month old kitten is soft as silk and sweet as sugar. Add that to his spunk and spirit, and he is sure to keep you smiling for years to come. Jack and his 3 littermates came to us underweight and undersocialized, and boy, did we have to work hard to get them to chunk up and learn that humans can be friends. While a few of the kittens are still working on their trust, Jack was the first one to give up his scaredy cat ways and embrace the chaos of his foster home. In recent months, we've watched Jack come out of his shell, first by falling head over heels for the dogs members of his foster family, and then by, quite literally, squeezing himself into the lives (and hearts) of his foster family.  Jack is the nap king - he can often be found sleeping sprawled out on his back, paws stretched out over his head, snoozing without a care in the world. He's especially fond of using our big labs (or the resident cats) as hot water bottles to sleep up against. When it comes to bed time, Jack makes his way into a human bed without fail. Cuddling is his love language, so don't be surprised if you roll over to find a little white ball of fluff snuggled up against you. This growing boy is a TRUE kitten. He plays like he has endless energy - both chasing toys, hunting bugs and birds outside the window, or stalking his fellow felines with sneak attacks when they least expect it. While Jack has never met a cat he doesn't like, his brother, Oscar, tends to use Jack as his emotional support sibling, and we plan to adopt them out as a pair. The more Oscar follows Jack's lead, the braver and friendlier he is becoming, and we can't wait to see them thrive TOGETHER in their forever home. Jack gets along swimmingly with cats, dogs and kids. We feel he would be an excellent addition to any home, as long as you are looking for a lap cat. Jack and Oscar MUST be adopted out as a pair. We will NOT separate them. Cats are negative for FelV/FIV, receive age-appropriate vaccines and deworming, are spayed/neutered and are microchipped (free lifetime registration with adoption). All of our pets go home with a "Go Home Goody Bag" that includes a starter supply of food, treats, toys, and a voucher for a free month of pet insurance from Trupanion. Location: Glastonbury, CTAdoption Fee: $300 per kitten ##2423064##

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Jack (BONDED PAIR), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
