My story

I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Cat Adoption:47Ford and Elmhurst are bashful brothers who are still learning to trust the world around them. Tabby Ford is the more confident of the two—he'll meow for attention and has discovered that treats and gentle pets can be quite nice. Gray boy Elmhurst is more cautious and tends to let his brother take the lead, though he's slowly warming up to human interaction. Both kittens can be handled and petted, and while they may be reserved with people, they're enthusiastic players who enjoy toys and games together. They need patient, understanding adopters who will let them progress at their own pace while encouraging their playful nature. These sweet boys are looking for a calm home where they can continue building their confidence and learn that humans can be trusted friends.  August 12, 2025, 8:44 pm
