My story

AN OVERSIZED BABY WHOM YOU CAN CARRY AROUND IN YOUR ARMS  DOB 5/5/22 Hey there, everyone! I’m Bruno, an extremely handsome, outgoing, and affectionate gray-and-white tuxedo fella with an adorable little kink in my tail who absolutely loves ALL people. I’ve never met a stranger! If you’ve got arms, I’m climbing into them. I’ll melt in your embrace and happily be carried around like the oversized baby that I know I am. I'm a lovable cuddle bug who’s quite content to curl up in your lap while I brief you on what’s on my mind. I not-so-subtly use my crunchy, raspy meows to request attention and food -- preferably both at once. I’m endlessly curious and always hunting for that hidden treat stash. I know it’s there. I will find it. I also go wild for wand toys and catnip. But here’s the thing -- I don’t just play. I PERFORM. My gravelly meows turn into dramatic growls and groans as I battle my “prey” like I’m starring in a full-fledged thriller. Yes, I guess you’d say that I’m the king of drama.  But true-to-form as a certified feline, I can get overstimulated and switch in a flash from “Love me forever” to “Okay, stop right meooow.” Give me a moment to reset, and I’m back, wondering why you stopped. I mean, really -- make up your mind, right? When my rescuer first spotted me at an apartment complex, I looked like I’d been in a dozen fights. Honestly, it was hard to imagine that anyone except me was the perennial loser. I had scars and wounds that hinted of clashes with dogs, cats, and maybe even a car or two.  I may have been on the streets, but I wasn’t made for them. So I moseyed right up like I knew this particular HOPE volunteer was my ticket into the great indoors. I probably had been someone’s cat once. My friendliness, trust in people, and total lack of street-smarts said it all. Since coming to my foster home, I’ve healed beautifully. However, those tough street memories remain. So other cats and dogs still feel like threats, not friends. Therefore, I’d be happiest as your one-and-only sidekick. No worries! To keep you entertained, I’ve got as much personality as an entire crew of pets.  Despite my being a real goofball, at the end of the day, I’m just a sweet, friendly guy who wants to snuggle in a safe, soft place next to someone who cares. I may be drama. I may be ridiculous. But more than anything, I’m the big, soft, loving, unforgettable little soul you’ve been waiting for. Arrange to meet me today!
