Kenzie: Border Collie Brains, Puppy Playfulness, and Expert Hugs! If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with smarts, sweetness, and serious snuggle skills—Kenzie is your girl! This 10-month-old, 40-pound Border Collie mix is a beautiful bundle of energy and affection who’s mastered the art of hugging and herding. Kenzie’s got the brains you’d expect from a Border Collie—and the heart to match. She lives with four dogs, a cat (who she totally ignores), and a 10-year-old human buddy she adores. Her favorite job? Rounding up the other dogs when foster mom calls them inside. Yep—she actually does that! She’s pretty much housetrained, meets new people with calm curiosity, and loves nothing more than being with her people (especially if those people let her throw her paws around their neck). Walks? She’s okay on a leash, but she’s more of a zoom-around-the-yard kind of girl right now. Kenzie’s down to be your one-and-only or part of a pack. She’s playful, gentle, affectionate, and always tuned in to the people she loves. This girl isn’t just a pretty face—she’s a loyal best friend in the making. Reach out to ccrtennessee@gmail.com Be sure to include your city and state! We transport to the Northeast every weekend from Nashville, TN. A Note from Kenzie Hi there! My name is Kenzie, and if no one's told you today—you're amazing. I mean that. I’m the kind of pup who likes to make sure everyone around me feels loved. That’s just who I am. I’m about 10 months old, 40 pounds, and people say I’m a Border Collie mix with the softest coat and the warmest eyes (one brown, one blue!). I think what really makes me special, though, is my heart. When you come home after being gone—even if it's just to the mailbox—I will hug you around the neck. It’s my way of saying, “I missed you. I love you. I’m your girl.” I live with a foster family right now: a 10-year-old boy, a few fun dogs, a nice cat I don’t bother, and a foster mom who works from home sometimes. She says I’m incredibly smart—she tells me to go bring the dogs in from the yard, and I do it! (I might be a little proud of that.) I’m almost fully housetrained, calm when I meet new people, and pretty polite on a leash. I don’t go for many walks, though, because I have a big fenced yard to run around in. I love playing with kids and dogs alike, but I’d also be happy as your one and only. More than anything, I just want a home where I can be close to my people, share hugs, chase a ball or two, and be told I'm a good girl. I promise—if you give me your heart, I’ll give you mine every single day. Hope to meet you soon.Love, Kenzie Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com Don’t forget to tell them your city and state!
