Buckle Up for Firebird – The Little Engine with Big Heart! Born on March 29, 2025, in the backseat of a Mustang, Firebird was revving his engine before his eyes were even open. With a momma who fought hard to keep him and his brothers safe, Firebird’s story started with grit and horsepower—and thanks to a rescue pit stop, this fiery little kitten is now thriving in the comfort of a foster home.Firebird is a gray and white tabby with racing stripes and a personality that’s pure turbocharged charm. He loves to chase toys, tumble with his brothers, and zoom through the kitten course like a true speedster. But don’t worry—he’s always ready to downshift for some snuggles and a warm lap.Handled by kids of all ages, Firebird is learning that humans make the best pit crew. He’s affectionate, curious, and has a purr that kicks in faster than a nitro boost. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
