My story

Hazel is a 5-7y.o chihuahua/yorkie??? mix. She weighs 12 lbs. She was abandoned at a vacant house when someome working in the area spotted her on a chain. She was brought to our rescue and is thriving. Hazel really wants to play with another dog. She is walking well on leash and is housetrained. Hazel tested heartworm positive so she is on doxycycline pretreatment until she gets her immiticide. She can be adopted locally and will go to our vet for treatment. A solid history of excellent vet care for current or previous pets is required. Preference will be given to applicants who have specific breed experience and own their own home. Your adoption paperwork has the microchip #, company name and you have an adoption agreement showing transfer from rescue to individual.
