Oh, Joey! He’s the perfect mix of sweet, smart, and silly. This water-loving guy loves splashing in the baby pool and chasing water from the hose. He adores other dogs and will need a canine companion in his forever home. Joey is highly food motivated, making training a breeze. He’s already potty trained, kennel trained, and knows how to “sit”, lay “down”, and “shake” on command! He is also doing great with leash training! Recently, he has found his love for cuddling and often squeezes himself onto the nearest lap just to be close. Joey is 5 1/2 months old and a mix of 21 different breeds. His top 4 breeds are 15% Alaskan Malamute, 13% Pit Bull, 12% Siberian Husky and 8% German Shepherd Dog. He currently weighs 29.2 lbs and is expected to weigh between 51-86 lbs when full grown. If you are interested in adopting Joey, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. *Due to his breed makeup, we will not be placing him in apartments.*Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2352027##
