My story

Once upon a time, a gentle soul named Cinderella found herself in a loud, unfamiliar place—a shelter full of sounds and smells that make her nervous. At just 11 months old, this sweet girl is still learning that the world can be kind. She’s not shy because she doesn’t want love—she’s just waiting for the right person to show her she’s safe.Cinderella is quiet, tender-hearted, and deeply sensitive. She’s the kind of cat who blossoms with time and patience. Once she feels secure, her purrs and affection will be your sweetest reward.She’s looking for a calm, loving home with someone who will give her the space and encouragement she needs to build her confidence. A gentle touch, a cozy hiding spot, and a little time are all it will take for her to trust again.Adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, started on core vaccines per shelter protocols, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested, and started on monthly preventatives. Adoptions hours (no appointment needed) are M/T/W/F 10 am - 12:30 pm and 2 pm -4 pm; TH 10 am -12:30 pm and 2 pm -6:30 pm, and SAT 9 am -1 pm. To schedule an appointment outside of those hours, and/or to learn more information regarding a particular animal, please call the Feline Department at 410-848-4810 ext 822. If no one answers, please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number, and the call will be returned by end of business Monday - Friday. Adopters can prepare for their visit by being 21 years of age or older, having permission from their landlord to bring a new pet into their household, having some form of ID that shows their current address, and by bringing a suitable carrier to take their new companion home in. The adoption fee can be paid using cash, debit or credit and is based on age: Cats 1 year and younger are $75; cats 2 years to 7 years are $50; and 8 years and older are $25.
