My story

Zoey is pending adoption. We have a transport where we will be personally taking our dogs home leaving on 8/8/25 to NorCal, OR, WA, ID, and CO. We are combining our Trip up north with our trip cross country this time, so surrounding states will be added to our route as needed ☺️ We would love to add Zoey to our trip for the right home 💕 Meet our beautiful Zoey ❤️ She is a 1 year old purebred Pomeranian. She weighs lbs. Yes, she is full grown and at a healthy weight. She is naturally small and petite ❤️ She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and had a wonderful exam with our vet who has cleared her to find a home all her own 😊 She is house trained, and while she loves going outside to potty we have to make sure she is always accompanied due to her small size and the wildlife we have here. She does understand pads as well so if you wanted to use them inside as an alternative or for her to have access to in between you taking her out then you can definitely do that. She is crate trained, and currently sleeps in her crate at night. She is a total cuddler, and would happily say goodbye to her crate if she could sleep in bed with you or in a bed all her own in your room. She loves to be with her humans, so being closer at night would make her heart bursting with joy ❤️ She is leash trained, and loves her walks whenever it's cool enough to take them. She is a little adventurer and is always up for a stroll to just about anywhere. She doesn't mind being carried and with her small size we don't mind it either so if your walk becomes a bit to tiring she will let you know so she can be picked up and snuggles the rest of the way 😊 She is great with other dogs and cats alike. She doesn't necessarily play with them, as her focus has always been to get her humans attention as that's where her heart truly lays but if you have another sweet friend for her to join life with she will happily keep them company, but if it's just you and her she will be just as happy being your princess 💕 She is not a barker and hardly lets unfamiliar noises phase her. The only time you really hear her bark is when you have made yourself food and the smell is too good for her to pass up trying to get a taste of it 😂 so she will attempt to convince you that sharing is caring 😉 Our advice is to stay strong because she is very convincing but if you feel you can't then have a special treat for her nearby so you can make sure you offer her a peace treaty 😁 She is very well mannered in the home, and is always at your feet, if she hasn't made it to your lap ❤️❤️ She has such a beautiful personality and has brightened our days since her arrival to us. We will miss her, and all of her antics but it's time for her to be with her own human/family so that they can experience the joy we have and so that she can finally feel at home 💓 She is wonderful on road trips, and really enjoys being on your lap, which if you drive alone makes things a bit difficult so we recommend a booster seat for the middle console, or in one of your seats near by so she can still feel close to you ❤️ She is wonderful at the groomers, and enjoys getting all dolled up for her person. She knows she is a princess and has no problem wearing her crown in every area of her life starting with her spa days that are always a great idea in her book!! Her prior owners had to move into an apartment and unfortunately the lease didn't allow dogs. They didn't have time to keep looking as they had to be out of their current place much quicker than anticipated so they reached out to us to take her in and find her a great home so here we are 😊 Her adoption fee is on our website at the bottom of her adoption listing on our website at https://www.breadoflifek9refuge.org/post/_zoey-1Zoey ❤️ It covers all of her vet costs. She is spayed, current on vaccines, and microchipped. She also is being sent home with a health certificate from our vet showing that she is in great health and has been cleared by him to find a new home ❤️ It also covers the months of care, grooming costs, and training we have personally done with her here 😊

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Zoey, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
