My story

Bella is a beautiful, loyal, and spirited dog with a heart full of love and a personality that will brighten your life. She’s about 4 years old and has had two loving homes in her lifetime. Due to unfortunate life circumstances, we are now looking for the perfect forever family who can give Bella the time, attention, and affection she truly deserves. Bella is full of life and joy—she lives to play tug-of-war, go on long walks, or join you for a run if you're up for it. She's also an expert cuddler, and once she’s bonded with you, she’ll be your most loyal and affectionate shadow. Bella is smart, eager to please, and knows several fun tricks including turn, lay down, paw, and shake. She also enjoys puzzle toys and anything that gives her a chance to use her brain and get rewarded! Bella thrives on connection and structure. While she can be reactive to other dogs on leash, she has successfully played with canine companions who match her energy and play style. With slow introductions and the right partner, she can be a great playmate. She takes a few minutes to warm up to new people but does best when someone gets down on her level and lets her come to them on her terms. Once she feels safe, she’s affectionate, sweet, and incredibly loyal. She’s been a beloved member of our family, but we know she deserves a home where she can be the center of someone’s world, with consistency and patience to continue her progress. She’s never been destructive in the home and is a great listener when there are few distractions. She just needs someone with a steady, loving hand who can match her passionate and playful spirit. Bella would thrive with an experienced dog owner who understands dog reactivity and is committed to giving her the enrichment, structure, and love she needs.
