If the answer is yes, you should definitely meet Doe! This sweet senior is super affectionate. From sitting in her person’s lap while watching tv to sleeping on them at night- snuggling might be Doe’s favorite activity!  Doe can be  shy and wary of new people and it may take a little time for her to warm up, but when she does, you are her new best friend! It’s easy to get Doe to play. She’s working on her pouncing skills with her favorite cat dancer toy. Once captured, she’s likely to continue playing from a reclining position. Doe also likes to carry around the house a small plushie toy, announcing her happiness with cute meows. She’ll also lay her “catch” on the cardboard scratcher which she adores for scratching and lounging.  Doe is on a weight loss journey that you will need to continue working with your vet. She also receives a daily dose of gabapentin for arthritis pain that  is easily added to her wet food.  This affectionate girl may be slow to warm up, but according to her foster it’s well worth the wait! We predict lots of snuggles ahead with a little patience and a lot of love. Doe is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
