My story

Hi, I’m Puffin, and yes—I’m a princess. I may be shy at first, but if you take things slow and show me I’m safe, I’ll show you the sweet, snuggly side of me. Once I trust you, I love belly rubs—so much so that I’ll flop right into your lap and stay there, upside down, like royalty awaiting her spa treatment. And if you stop petting me too soon? I’ll gently nudge your hand to remind you… we`re not done here.Walks are my jam. I love getting out and sniffing around the world, but I’m also perfectly happy curling up beside you on the couch for a cozy movie night. I don’t care much for toys or treats, but I do like the company of other animals—dogs and even cats are fine by me.Now, a few things to know: I get a bit nervous around sudden movements, men, and small kids. Teenagers and women? Totally cool. But I’d feel safest in a home without children under 10. I also don’t love grooming—I’ll need to be muzzled for nail trims and such because, well, I will bite if I feel too scared.I’m crate trained and doing my best with potty training, and I don’t have separation anxiety (though I might bark a little protest when first kenneled—just to let you know I have opinions).I’m not looking for perfect—just someone patient, kind, and understanding. If you treat me like the princess I am, I’ll be your most loyal little lovebug.My adoption fee of $450 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday, Friday and Saturday are walk in from 10-5.
