My story

Meet Perkins! As you can see from the photos, he’s got a smile that could light up the whole block. He’s a younger dog who loves people so much that he’ll happily crawl into your lap for snuggles—even in the middle of a park water break. The most important thing to know about him is he’s a relaxed, calm companion who walks beautifully on leash, rides well in the car, and enjoys hanging out anywhere from the couch to a brewery patio.All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered (or scheduled), vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home today! No pre-application or appointment needed—just bring a valid ID and walk in. Our adoption fees are among the lowest in Cincinnati!To meet our animals, visit our Northside shelters any day from 1–6pm. If listed as foster, email foster@cincycare.org to schedule a meet and greet. Adopting an adult dog with resident dogs or kids at home?
