MAX

My story

Max is a curly-tailed good boy who thrives on being close to his people. He enjoys following his foster family around the house and is always eager to be part of daily life. While he has natural guard dog instincts at home and will bark at unfamiliar visitors, he is not aggressive.Max is learning how to walk on a leash without pulling but continues to improve with each walk. He is also kennel-trained and settles in comfortably when left alone. At home, he is allowed freedom to roam during the day and night when his foster family is home and has never once had an accident or chewed anything.He gets along well with children and other dogs, making him a great fit for a family environment. He is also good with cats and chickens. Max is very considerate and takes treats like a gentleman. He also patiently waits his turn when his foster sister is drinking from the water bowl and has shown no signs of resource guarding.Max would do best in a home where he can continue to build on his training and enjoy the companionship he values so deeply.
