My story

Meet Daphne! Daphne is a 4-year-old sweetheart with a heart as wide as her smile. When animal control found her, she was all alone in the place she once called home — left behind after her person went to jail. But even before that, life hadn’t been kind to her. The home she was left in wasn’t warm or safe. It wasn’t filled with gentle hands or kind words. Daphne knew more loneliness and neglect than any dog ever should. But somehow, she stayed soft. She stayed loving. Despite everything, Daphne never stopped believing in love. This happy little meatball — built like a hero sandwich and just as comforting — still leans in for every hug and melts into every snuggle like she’s been waiting her whole life for it. She looks at you with quiet hope, like maybe you will be the one who finally keeps her safe. All Daphne wants is a quiet, kind home where she can lay her head without fear. A warm lap. A soft bed. A forever. She has so much love left to give, and she’s still waiting — patiently, bravely — for someone who will love her back the way she’s always deserved. She’s not just looking for a home.
