My story

EST Date of Birth: May 1 2022  Personality: Trudy is a super sweet and loving cat. She is playful and loves to chase the wand, but is equally very easy-going and laid back. Whether it's a warm lap, a soft bed, or a window perch for birdwatching, Trudy is right at home.  Her Ideal Home: Trudy gets along well with other cats and humans, but she is quite passive and could easily be overwhelmed by a rambunctious or dominant cat.  She would do well as either an only cat or with other laid back cats for companions.  To our knowledge, she has not been children or dogs ... ur standard proper introduction needed blah blah ....  Her Background: Trudy was a sweet friendly stray found by one of our caretakers in Jessup. Because she was obviously someone's pet, we worked with Animal Control to try to find her owners but no one claimed her.  Now Trudy is looking for her forever home.     Interested in adopting one of our kitties?! The first step in the adoption process is the adoption application which is located on our website rescueandadopt.org/adopt.  Our website includes a lot of info, including a FAQ page with lots of answers. Once your application is reviewed we will contact you via email to schedule the home check video chat to ensure that you have all the basic supplies set up in an isolation/ introduction room and there are no health hazards to the cat in your home. We can also help answer any additional questions you may have at this time. Next is the meet and greet with you and the adoptable kitty you're interested in. We are a foster system so we do not have a facility. Visits to meet an adoptable animal at a foster family is by appointment only. In the rare case that you decide your initial kitty isn't the right fit, we can introduce you to our many other types of cats to find the right fit. Once you have settled on your new furry family member, the next step is to complete and sign the online adoption contract & submit the adoption fee/donation to finalize the adoption. Adoption Fees: $150 for kittens and cats under 5 years old and $100 for cats 5 years old and over.  We do offer a 15% discount for adopting 2 ADULT cats (over 1 year old) at once.   ##1636190##
