Irene was found all alone in a city park, which would be scary for any dog, but especially for one who can’t see. That’s right, Irene is mostly blind, but don’t go feeling sorry for her just yet. She may not have all of her sight, but she’s got everything else going for her: charm, smarts, and a whole lot of love to give.Once she got to the rescue, Irene wasted no time settling in. She’s figured out how to map her surroundings with impressive accuracy, and she’ll confidently move her way to the comfiest bed in the room... or your lap, if it’s available. She’s mellow, gentle, and has a soft spot for slow mornings and sun naps. Hustle and bustle? Not really her thing. Think cozy home, quiet vibes, and someone who wants a loyal little sidekick around most of the time.Irene gets along with other dogs who match her chill energy, and she absolutely lights up for gentle pets, calm voices, and treats she can sniff out from a mile away.
