My story

Ra is a 1-year-old pup who’s ready to be your new adventure buddy! He enjoys meeting new people, going for walks, and watching the world go by from the window. Ra has lived with another dog before and gets along well with canine friends. He’s also been around children ages 5 and up and does well with them. While he may whine a bit when left alone, he hasn’t been destructive or loud—just a little vocal about missing his people.Did you know?!  I am a ‘Have a Heart` fund recipient.  I have heartworms that will need to be treated in the home, but through this fund, the Humane Society of Charlotte has a voucher to assist with fees for the treatment. The treatment at their partnering vet clinics is done at a reduced rate for our adopters.  Our partner clinics will provide me with top notch care and support during the treatment.  I am in need of an adopter that will maintain a great relationship with my vet to help get me heartworm free! All adoptions are handled on a first-come, first-served basis at our Adoption Center, located at 1348 Parker Drive. No appointment is needed to meet your future furry friend! Hours: Sunday–Thursday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., Friday 11 a.m.–7 p.m., and Saturday 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
