Opal is a petite beauty with a personality that shines as brightly as her name. Weighing in at just seven pounds, this sweet and social girl is always nearby—whether she's chasing her favorite laser pointer or curling up in your lap for a well-earned nap. Opal thrives on human companionship and wants to be part of everything you do. She gets along well with dogs and older kids, but she prefers to be the only feline in the home—she wants all your love for herself! Despite her playful energy, Opal is easygoing when it’s time for care. She’ll happily sit in your lap for a nail trim, especially if there are treats involved! We have invested time, money, and care into our feline friends and want to ensure they never have to be abandoned again. Click on "available pet" and scroll down to find the adoption application. After filling out an application, e-mail it to ColumbusPetRescue@gmail.com. We will process your information and check veterinary and other references. Finally you may be scheduled for a home visit to make sure the environment is perfect for your new family member. Once you are approved, the process is simple: choose your new cat, meet and greet him or her, and, if all goes well, you have yourself a new pet.
