My story

Meet Sadie — the sweetest companion who’s wonderful with kids. Sadie gets an A+ when it comes to being around children. She is gentle, patient, and affectionate, making her a perfect family dog. She is incredibly easy to get out of her kennel and harness, and she does great on long walks. While she may occasionally bark or pull when she sees other dogs, she settles back in quickly. Sadie rides in the car like a pro and is happy to relax between adventures. She isn’t too interested in toys or bones, but she is very gentle when taking small treats and is especially fond of chicken nuggets. She spends her time happily alternating between quiet moments resting and exploring new places like playgrounds. Sadie is a calm, loving dog who is ready to bring joy, gentleness, and companionship to her forever home. Sadie has had positive interactions with other dogs. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines. To meet your new pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
