Meet Charley — The Gentle Giant with a Loyal Heart Charley is an 8-year-old Mastiff mix who came to us with his lifelong friend, Coco. These two share a deep bond and would love to find a forever home together, where they can keep being each other’s comfort and confidence.Charley can be a little nervous in new environments and sometimes shows stress signals, but with a calm, experienced owner, he’ll quickly warm up and settle in. Once he trusts you, this big sweetheart will lean in for pets and affection. He walks well on leash, is potty trained, and prefers a steady, predictable routine.When it comes to other dogs, Charley can be selective — he may bark or show teeth at the fence during play but can walk away calmly once the excitement is over. If a potential adopter has another dog, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure it’s the right match. We recommend a home with kids 10+ and experience with large breeds.Charley’s favorite role is “Coco’s protector,” and together they make the perfect balance — her energy paired with his watchful calm.
