My story

When Destiny was rescued from a basement where she was raising her babies, she had every reason to be cautious. Life hadn’t shown her the best side of people yet. But this petite, sleek, all-black beauty is starting to learn that love can come in soft voices, slow blinks, and gentle hands. Destiny may not be the first to run up and greet you. She’s more of a “watch from under the cat bed and assess the vibes” kind of girl. But don’t mistake her shyness for indifference. She adores other cats and will happily rub up on her feline friends like they’re longtime companions. Give her a cat buddy (or two!) and she’ll have the confidence to blossom, watching how trust and love work. She's especially enchanted by toys that move on their own; battery-powered critters and fluttering feather things are her jam. And while she’s still figuring out if laps and pets are her thing, she’s making quiet strides each day. All she needs now is a home that understands the reward of earning a shy cat’s trust. If your home is on the peaceful side, and your heart has space for a quiet companion who will shine brightest with another cat by her side, then maybe… just maybe… it’s Destiny.
