Name:  Hootie          Best Guess for Breed:  Great Dane  Best Guess for Age:  2.5 years old as of July 2025        SEX:  Female Approximate Weight: 106lbs  Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids yet but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters. Currently Living at: Shelter - Hootie needs a foster or adopter to come up to the DC area! Hootie is Looking For:   Her forever home! This sweet, gentle giant is looking for the family that will accept her for who she is - size and all! She’ll need an extra large dog bed that is warm and cozy, and lots of kibble and yummy treats to keep her energy up. She’ll want to join you on walks, too and is looking forward to making some new four legged friends in the DMV! More than anything, she wants to feel safe and loved. Can you see Hootie snuggled up with you forever? What My Foster Says About Me: Coming soon! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
