Meet Maple & Tricycle – A Bonded Pair with Hearts of Gold Maple and Tricycle are two lovely adult cats who are looking for a home where they can stay together. Originally adopted from us, they had a wonderful life with their person—but after their owner passed away, they came back to the shelter, still side by side and supporting one another through the change.Maple is the more outgoing of the two. She`s confident, affectionate, and always ready to greet you with a gentle purr or a curious look. Tricycle is a bit more shy and takes a little time to warm up, but with patience and kindness, her sweet and gentle nature starts to shine through.These girls have been through a lot, and their bond is truly something special. They bring each other comfort and confidence, and because of that, we are looking for a home where they can stay together.If you`re looking for a loving, low-key pair of companions who already know the value of home and each other, Maple and Tricycle would love to meet you. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday.A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal`s picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
