My story

In early July, Bailey, a young mom barely out of kittenhood, and her four kittens were surrendered at the Lancaster Animal Shelter by the owner. We took this family in on July 8th when the kittens were just two and a half weeks old. This beautiful family did not deserve this start in life, and we’re going to find their happily ever after story. Bailey is probably under a year old and has a beautiful multi-colored coat with Abyssinian markings. This is probably her first litter, but it will definitely be her last. She is friendly and loving and has been a great mom to her four babies. Two of the kittens have been adopted. Kona, a female, and Peet, a male, are available to be adopted together. Kona and Peet have beautiful markings, and their fur feels like velvet. They are active, playful, loving, and healthy. The kittens are available for adoption now and will be ready to go to their forever homes at the end of August when they are weaned. We have a strong preference for littermates to be adopted in pairs, the advantage being with siblings you are guaranteed to have a bonded pair. But we will also consider applications for a single kitten to a home with another cat or a cat-friendly dog. In that case, we would love to see Bailey adopted with one of her kittens. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers FIV/FeLV testing, deworming, vaccinations, and spay/neuter with a partner clinic. To set up a visit, drop me a note at cherylsferalsandfosters@gmail.com or PM me. If you are considering adopting, please fill out and submit the adoption contract found in The Adoption Process link on my website (cherylsferalsandfosters.com). In the meantime, you can follow their journey on Facebook: Cheryl’s Ferals and Fosters. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3).

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Kona & Peet, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
